Your hot tub could be the answer to those sleepless nights.

We understand that the holiday season can be extremely stressful. From traveling to see family to ensuring you get the perfect gift for everyone on your list, there’s always a lot going on. With the chaos that surrounds the holidays, getting a good night’s sleep should be something that’s guaranteed, not up for debate. Making sure you get ample rest will have you waking up feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on the day.

The National Sleep Foundation found that about 132 million Americans suffer from some sort of sleeping disorder, such as insomnia, more than one night per week. A lack of sleep is often tied to living a stressful, hectic life which can especially flare up during the holidays.

Incorporating your hot tub into your nightly routine can help ensure you get to sleep faster and stay asleep longer. According to the National Sleep Foundation, soaking in a hot tub for 15-20 minutes before going to bed can ease your transition into sleep. However, make sure you are soaking in your hot tub early enough before bed that you are no longer sweating or over-heated. We recommend a soak about 90 minutes before trying to fall asleep so your body temperature can properly drop. Your body’s natural process of cooling you off will help relax you.

For an even more relaxing soak, use waterproof speakers to play some of your favorite calming music to get your mind into relaxation mode.

Trust us when we say sleep is important. From holiday shopping to preparing for 2018, a good night’s rest will keep you going.
