Transform your hot tub into your personal romantic getaway.

Can you believe Valentine’s Day is right around the corner?! 2018 seems to be flying by. Regardless of whether you and your significant other have established your Valentine’s Day plans, incorporating your hot tub as part of this special day is always a good idea. It’s a great way to spend quality time with one another either before, or after your dinner plans. Haven’t made reservations yet? Make your hot tub your own personal restaurant.

Set the mood by decorating the outside of your tub with twinkle lights. This will make your experience at bit more special and romantic, and it won’t feel like just another evening in the hot tub. If you have floating lights to go into your hot tub, make sure to take advantage of those as well. No matter if you’re using your hot tub before, during or after your dinner, setting the mood with a playlist is key. Rose petals make for the perfect finishing touch.

Food & Drink

Floating trays make the perfect place to set glasses of your drink of choice, but don’t forget to chill any cold beverages beforehand if need be. If you’re going out to dinner, having a healthy appetizer in the hot tub is the perfect transition into the rest of your evening. Plus, doing so will save you money. If a night in is more your scene, try putting together some healthy appetizers like homemade guacamole and substitute carrots for chips.

If you’re using your hot tub as your own private restaurant, pick a handful of appetizers to enjoy as your dinner, tapas-style. Finger food is always the best choice so you don’t have to mess with silverware.

Whatever you do, don’t forget the dessert. Anything that has dark chocolate in it is our personal favorite. It’s not only delicious, but it has amazing health benefits like potential cancer prevention, improved cholesterol, improved heart health and it’s rich in antioxidants.
